The spacious double room at Zula Zanzibar was amazing! It had a private entrance, a cozy balcony with a view of the inner courtyard, and a lovely private bathroom with a refreshing shower. It felt like a perfect oasis for me, as a guest with disabilities, providing comfort and convenience.
I found it a bit too overwhelming, but I understand that others may enjoy it.

Our weekend getaway was fantastic! We had an amazing view of the beach and ocean from our hotel room. The location was perfect, close to all the great restaurants in town. We loved that the hotel offered free refilling of cold drinking water at the reception, it was a small but thoughtful gesture that helped us reduce plastic waste. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We also enjoyed the activities that the hotel planned for us, such as the conservation tour guide in Jozani and the knowledgeable guide who took us around Stone Town. it was a wonderful experience.
There were a couple of minor issues during our stay. The breakfast package could use some improvement, as it was quite basic and not very filling.

The spacious double room offers a private entrance. It felt like having my own secret hideaway, like a VIP entering a glamorous party. The pool with a view was the standout feature of the double room. I felt like a millionaire, lounging by the pool and gazing out at the breathtaking scenery. The continental breakfast at Zula Zanzibar was a delightful start to my day. It was like having a buffet in a high-end restaurant, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from.
Limited dinner options.

We took a 5-day break at Zula Zanzibar during our 2-month journey through East Africa. The hotel had a relaxed villa atmosphere with private beach access. The restaurant served a great breakfast and had a variety of snacks and light meals. The Dutch family owners went the extra mile in providing great hospitality. The location was ideal, with seafront rooms offering amazing views of the ocean, pools, and coconut trees. The staff was welcoming and always ready to help, and the hotel had a huge poolside area to relax in.
Can just recommend this hotel.

I had an incredible stay at a beachfront hotel in Paje. The bungalow rooms were spacious and offered breathtaking sea views. The poolside area was vast, providing plenty of space to relax and soak up the sun. The staff were friendly, helpful, and really made me feel welcomed. The breakfast was quick and tasty, and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel also organized amazing activities for me, such as a conservation tour in Jozani and a guided tour of Stone Town. I had an amazing time and would highly recommend this hotel.
Personally, I found the bed a bit stiff and had trouble falling asleep. Additionally, the WiFi could be more stable, which would have been convenient.
